    • Full Name: As per your Saudi ID or Iqama.
    • Government Identifiers: Iqama/ID number and its expiry date.
    • Identity Documents: Photographic snapshots of your Iqama and Driving License for verification purposes.
  2. Vehicle Information:
    • Vehicle Details: Name, Model, Color, and Plate Number along with Vehicle Picture
    • Insurance Information: Vehicle insurance details and documentation to ensure legal compliance and passenger safety.
  3. Precise Location Data:
    • Location Tracking: We collect precise location data (GPS and network-based).
    • Background Location: The App collects location data even when the app is closed or not in use to provide passengers with real-time ETA updates and ensure trip safety from the start of the journey until drop-off.
  4. Media and Files:
    • Camera and Storage: Access to your camera and file storage to upload required documentation (Iqama, License, Insurance).
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected data for the following strictly functional and legal purposes:
  • Identity & Vehicle Verification: To verify that drivers and vehicles meet the legal requirements of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
  • Onboarding: To register you as a legitimate partner on the Journey Joy platform.
  • Trip Management: To facilitate the pickup and drop-off of students at their selected home and university locations.
  • Safety & ETA: To provide passengers with real-time location updates and accurate estimated arrival times.
  • Regulatory Compliance: To comply with Saudi Arabian transport authorities and data protection laws.
3. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell your personal data. Your information is shared only in the following scenarios:
  • With Passengers: Passengers assigned to your ride will see your Name, Vehicle Details (Plate number, Color, Model), and Real-time Location to facilitate the service.
  • Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information to Saudi government authorities if required by law or to protect the safety of our users.
  • Service Providers: We may use third-party cloud providers (AWS) to store data, ensuring they comply with Saudi data residency regulations.
4. Precise Location & Prominent Disclosure
JJ Partner requires access to your Precise Location at all times during an active journey.
  • Why? To allow passengers to track their ride for safety and to calculate accurate arrival times.
  • Background Access: Location is collected in the background to ensure tracking is not interrupted if you receive a phone call or use a navigation app.
  • Control: You can enable or disable location services through your device settings; however, disabling this will prevent you from accepting or completing rides.
5. Data Retention and Deletion
  • Retention: We retain your identity and vehicle information for as long as you remain an active partner. Legal documentation is stored in accordance with Saudi Arabian statutory requirements.
  • Deletion: You may request the deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at contact@journeyjoy.app. We will process such requests within the timeframe required by the Saudi PDPL, unless we are legally obligated to retain the data.
6. Security
We implement industry-standard security measures, including encryption (SSL/TLS) and secure database protocols, to protect your sensitive documents and location data. In compliance with the Saudi PDPL, all personal data is stored on secure servers located within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
7. Children’s Privacy
JJ Partner is intended for use by individuals aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
8. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the App's "Data Safety" section in the Google Play Store.
